Marley and Me

Its Emily and I tried to watch the movie Marley and Me today. But I couldn't finish because it was going to make me really sad when the dog dies :(( but it's a really sweet and funny movie and I love it!! (well the part that i saw! which was most of it) Everyone should see it because it's super good!! I kinda wish I finished it but it was a rental and we already turned it in :(( but I would totally cry if I saw the rest! haha, I got really teary when Marley ran away because I have a dog and I was so sad imagining my dog running away/dying :(

One Direction

Hey its Emily! I'm here to tell you about this band called One Direction. If you haven't ever heard of it then you NEED to look them up on youtube. There's 5 guys, in a band and they have amazing voices! (They're really cute too<3) Lots of people at my school talk about them and love their songs, so I suggest you go out and listen to them!! I love the song What Makes You Beautiful, just for an opinion. Actually... I love all of their songs!! hehe :P

LUSH

Jessi here to do a quick post about LUSH cosmetics!  got a request to do this post from a fellow blogger and thought it was a great idea :D  for you guys who don't know about LUSH, they sell face stuff (cleansers, toners, moisturizers, face-masks), bath/shower stuff, soap, a whole bunch of stuff!  I stopped by our local LUSH a few weeks ago and got some samples, of candycane soap, fresh farmacy cleanser, to try.  my face routine is: cleanse with Coal face cleanser--you can feel it cleaning your skin, it's so great!--tone with Tea Tree water, moisturize with Vanishing Cream.  I've been using the Fresh Farmacy with my Coalface and it's a really nice combo because of the exfoliating bits in the Coal face and the calamine in Fresh Farmacy.  They have something for every skin/hair type so unless you have combination/normal skin like me these might not be for you, for instance they have Eau Roma Water toner for more sensitive skin types or Skin Drink moisturizer for those with drier skin.  If you don't know your skin type you should probably go with Angels on bare Skin because it's a pretty universal cleanser.  all the LUSH people are really helpful and can find something for you if you are unsure.  Go out and try it!!

Sorry we've been so busy

Hey, it's Emily! Sorry me and Jessi haven't been making very many posts lately. We have been so busy with Thanksgiving (BTW I hope everyone had a great time!!), Christmas decorating, and just the regular everyday lifestyle we have. :) We will try to make more posts but as you can see, we don't live our lives on the computer so we'll make as many as we can! :)) thanks!

Jessi here, and I just found this cute recipe for applepie party dip!!  wait how can a recipe be cute?  whatever, I'm so not going to think about that because it will confuse me!  Yeah, anyways it a youtube video by otherjuicystar07 that I really liked :)  it looked really really GOOD!  I really want to eat it.

Hey! its Emily and I'm in a photography class at my school. We (of course!!) take pictures and we make a photo book at the end of the trimester. I'm working on it right now!! :) its really fun + very helpful with picture taking! I've taken tons of pictures like: shoes, people, perfumes, flowers, etc. I really enjoyed this class and I hope everyone will try it!! :)

Hi, Jessi here.  So happy it's November already, cant wait for thanksgiving!!  yeah, i know.  It's only the first week of november--but a girl can be excited, right?  besides, i'm really excited for being able to sing Christmas carols, which should be allowed sometime around the first/second week of december.  I love christmas!!  anyway, we're still alive haha, just busy with a whole bunch of stuff!

1. red/wine lips

4. eyeshadow: gold, coral, smokey eye-gray/purple, 

5. bold eyes=natural lips; bold lips=natural eyes

6. contoured cheeks, bronzer, etc--no bright blush

7. lighter skin makes bold lips pop!

now. . . nails!  (also not from seventeen)

 These are Sally hansen nail polish strips.  i want these so bad!!

jewel tones are in:navy blue, dark red, forest green, dark purple, etc

and one nail painted a different color.

Halloween

Hey guys!! its Emily here and I'm wondering what you guys are going to be for halloween!! for me and Jessi, halloween is just the one time in the year where everyone dresses up as something cute and fun and we go get candy from our neighbors + friends :) Last year we were fairies :) this year we are thinking about being crayons (I know its seems weird, but we think it will be fun and cute!!) pink + blue crayons. what can get cuter than that! :P haha

Tyra Banks on Rachael Ray

its Emily here! I was watching Rachael Ray this morning and she was interviewing Tyra Banks. When I was little, I used to watch America's Next Top Model starring Tyra. But since I watched when I was young, I didn't understand beauty and makeup. Now that I'm older I would enjoy (and recommend) watching that show because it will talk about how you can do your makeup and hair and how to pose in pictures so you can look your best. :)
